What if my garden isn't flat?
You do not need to worry if there is a slight slope. Even a more pronounced slope is not usually an issue for the marquee structure, however you may find that it is not suitable for a seated event.
We would usually recommend a raised solid floor to even out a pronounced slope or where a split level needs to be considered.
Can the marquee be connected to my house?
Yes. Many of our clients wish to hire one of our marquees so that it serves as an extension to their home. As such our marquees can, in most cases, butt against the side of a house with ease.

How long is the marquee hire period?
For a weekend event we typically erect marquees on the Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. We would then return to dismantle the marquee on the following Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. If you have a special requirement, please let us know and we will timetable for that.

Can I hire just a marquee or just hire furniture from Tops Marquees?
Yes. We have an extensive range of furniture hire products, bars, dance floors and staging. As such we are regularly called upon to supply furniture hire products for venues and smaller marquee hire companies.
Equally you may be organising a sporting event or similar and merely require just a basic functional marquee for shelter / storage.

Are marquees suitable for winter?
Our marquees are suitable for every season of the year. In fact the Christmas period is an exceptionally busy time for Tops Marquees. Simply add a solid floor with heaters and you will soon forget you are in a marquee. Decorated appropriately, a marquee can be transformed into an exciting winter venue.
Will we need to hire a marquee heater in spring and summer?
The British weather is incredibly unpredictable; therefore even in June/July a heater may be necessary. So budget for a heater just in case, and make a decision in the week leading up to your party when you have seen the weather forecast.
